Veresk Bridge, Iran, Art Print

The Veresk Bridge is one of the most remarkable feats of engineering in Iranian history, a railway viaduct built between 1936 and 1938 as part of the Trans-Iranian Railway, the ambitious project that connected the Caspian Sea to the Persian Gulf across some of the world's most challenging mountain terrain. Located in the Alborz Mountains of Mazandaran Province, the bridge spans a deep rocky gorge, its elegant concrete arch rising 110 metres above the valley floor, supported by a towering steel lattice pier anchored in the canyon below. The Trans-Iranian Railway was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2021. This print captures the bridge from directly below: the steel pier rising from the moss-covered gorge floor, the arch spanning the two cliff faces high above, and the lush green vegetation of the Alborz canyon clinging to the walls on either side.

This is not a traditional watercolor painting; it is a premium art print with a watercolor-inspired aesthetic.
