Built by Roman prisoners under Shapur I in the 3rd century CE, the bridge spans the Dez River and has been in near-continuous use for over 1,700 years. This print captures it from a striking low angle: the ancient stone arches and modern deck soaring overhead, reflected in the green waters of the Dez below, with a bright, cloud-filled sky above.
